Wenger produced a few of the fiber-handled Soldier model after its retirement, with tang dates later than the official retirement year of 1959. These knives are similar to the 1959 Soldier except for the later tang date. It seems unusual that they maintained production of the older style of blade, but it's possible they had leftover parts, and still found demand for the older knife style.
Size & Weight: The Wenger post-1959 Soldier knife is 93mm (3 1/2") long and 18mm (0.71") thick. It weighs about 90 grams (3.1 oz).
