Victorinox and Wenger 1986 Soldier 93mm Aluminum Alox Swiss Army Knives

The Victorinox and Wenger 1986 Soldier Swiss Army knives are a 93mm / 3 1/2" ribbed alox knife, with a 1986 date on the blade tang. This model was standard issue for the Swiss army during 1986. Soldier knives with an 86 date have a hollow rivet, a cutting notch in the bottle opener, and a square box for the Waffenkontrolle inspection stamp. Tools are similar to the 1985 Soldier and 1987 Soldier.

Size & Weight: The Victorinox and Wenger 1986 Soldier knife is 93mm (3 1/2") long, 23mm (15/16") wide, and 14mm (1/2") thick. It weighs about 73 grams (2.6 oz).

Colors: The 1986 Soldier comes in silver ribbed aluminum alox.
