The Victorinox and Wenger 1968 Soldier Swiss Army knives are a 93mm / 3 1/2" ribbed alox knife, with a 1968 date on the blade tang. This model was standard issue for the Swiss army during 1968. Both versions have a cutting notch in the bottle opener, a hollow rivet, Elsener Schwyz on the blade tang (Victorinox only), a cross with Waffenkontrolle stamp instead of the insignia. Some knives have Pat stamped on the can opener, and some do not. The tools are similar to the 1967 Soldier, and the subsequent 1969 Soldier.

Size & Weight: The Victorinox and Wenger 1968 Soldier knife is 93mm (3 1/2") long, 23mm (15/16") wide, and 14mm (1/2") thick. It weighs about 73 grams (2.6 oz).
Colors: The 1968 Soldier comes in silver ribbed aluminum alox.
