Early PST's had drop point blades with several different stamps on the tang, depending on where they were manufactured.
The stamp in the top picture here, found on the latest Japanese PST's, reads simply "Leatherman". The stamp in the middle picture reads "Leatherman Japan", while the stamp in the bottom picture reads "Japan Leatherman" (found on the earliest Japanese PST's).
