For countries not listed above, delivery confirmation and tracking are unavailable, or available only with expensive shipping methods. Usually the package is tracked until it leaves the USA, but not after that. We can only send your order if you agree to take the risk it may be lost or delayed in the mail system, or in Customs. We will cancel the order if you don't agree to take the risk, or if the risk of loss is too high. In countries with very high rates of loss, you may need to use a freight forwarder to make sure your package arrives safely.
Shipping charges vary by item. The shopping cart system will show you your shipping cost, when you check out.
Special shipping is available by Express Mail, UPS or FedEx. It is significantly more expensive, but if you are in a hurry, contact us or check their websites for exact charges. For alternate shipping methods we charge our actual cost, plus $6.00 per order for extra handling. Please let us know before paying, if you would like special shipping.
We can usually ship within one business day after receiving your order. If tracking is available, we will send you a tracking number when it leaves here. Time in transit varies enormously between countries, and usually depends on time spent in Customs. Shipping to many countries takes a week or two, but there may sometimes be delays in Customs (it often takes two months or more in Brazil).
You are responsible for knowing your country's laws regarding knife possession and purchase. We will label packages as a "pocket tool", but you are responsible for any confiscation or loss in Customs. We are required by law to declare the actual purchase price on Customs forms, and face severe penalties if we lie, or call it a "gift".
You may need to pay Customs duties and/or sales taxes (GST, VAT etc) when you receive your order. Usually the Post Office will collect those fees upon pickup or delivery.
We cover damages or losses that happen inside the US, or in transit to Customs in your country. The buyer is responsible for any damage or losses that happen after arrival in Customs.
