The Wenger Day Hiker Swiss Army knife is a basic pocket knife with a phillips head screwdriver and a basic assortment of tools. It's similar to the Trailblazer knife, but it has a locking blade, and a simple key ring instead of a key chain.

The Day Hiker is a retired Wenger model that is no longer in production, but it is sometimes available in used condition.

NOTE-- This model appears to have been made exclusively for the Eddy Bauer outdoor catalog, since all the Day Hikers we've seen so far are marked with the Eddy Bauer logo.

Canyon-- no blade lock, small blade instead of nail file
Highlander-- no blade lock, toothpick or tweezers
Spartan-- corkscrew instead of phillips screwdriver
Trailblazer-- no blade lock, key chain instead of key ring

Sportsman-- corkscrew instead of phillips screwdriver
Tinker Small-- small blade instead of nail file
