The original Victorinox Yeoman Swiss Army knife is a three-layer pocket knife with a magnifying glass and other useful tools. It was designed for anyone who like to explore the outdoor world.

This is a rare collector's item which is in very high demand. Since its retirement, it has always sold at a very premium price. The Explorer knife is a much better deal if you just want a practical pocket knife with a magnifier!

NOTE-- For a few years there was a modern Yeoman Boy Scout Swiss Army knife (recently replaced by the Explorer Boy Scout). However, that version of the Yeoman is a larger 4-layer knife that has more tools (in fact it is identical to the Explorer Plus knife, except for the Boy Scout logo).

Explorer-- adds small blade, has separate can opener and bottle opener
Passenger-- no scissors, adds small blade and separate can opener (retired and rare)
Scientist-- no scissors, hook or awl (retired and rare)
Yeoman Boy Scout-- adds separate can opener, small blade, straight pin, pen, mini-screwdriver
