The Victorinox Voyageur Swiss Army Knife is a rare, retired model with a light and tough, ribbed aluminum alox shell. This is the only large, ribbed alox model that includes a pair of scissors!

The Voyageur knife is definitely a scarce collector's item, and it sells at a very premium price. If you just want a practical knife with similar tools, consider a Compact instead. The Cadet is the only modern 84mm ribbed alox knife, which might be another reasonable alternative if you don't need scissors.

NOTE-- Don't confuse this model with the Voyager, a very different knife that includes a digital clock, and that doesn't have a French accent!

NOTE-- This model has sometimes been called the Tourist knife, although it is very different from the modern Tourist Swiss Army knife.
