The Victorinox SwissTool is built with the same Swiss precision as the regular Swiss Army knives, but it has a design that is similar to the popular Leatherman tools.

The SwissTool is made from solid stainless steel. It includes a large set of pliers, with eleven implements folded into the handles. All of the SwissTool implements lock open, for safer and more effective operation (you push on a knurled knob to release each tool, when you are ready to fold it back into the handles).

The fold-out tools on the SwissTool are mounted on the outside of the handles. That makes them more accessible, when the tool is folded closed.

Auto Tool-- no wood saw or plain blade, adds tire gauge, flashlight, ice scraper and fuse puller
SwissTool Black-- same tools with black oxide finish
SwissTool CS-- adds corkscrew and bit driver
SwissTool RS-- no serrated blade or file, adds scissors and belt cutter
SwissTool Spirit-- no large blade, adds scissors, lighter weight, more ergonomic design
SwissTool X-- scissors instead of serrated blade

Leatherman Core-- can & bottle opener combined, no wire scrapers

The SwissTool is available in polished stainless steel, and with a black oxide finish.
