The original version of the Victorinox Sportsman Swiss Army knife is similar to the modern Sportsman knife, but it has the older style of grooved corkscrew and solid awl. This knife was produced between 1968 and 1986.

The original Sportsman knives are rare, and we sell them at a premium price-- though they are still pretty reasonable, and a good way to start a collection of older Swiss Army knives.
