The Victorinox Spartan Serrated Swiss Army Knife is a variation of the standard Spartan knife that comes with a fully serrated large blade.

The Spartan Serrated is a rare, retired model that is sometimes available as a used Swiss Army knive. It is a collector's item which sells at a premium price. Consider a Fireman or a Trekker if you want a serrated blade in a modern Victorinox pocket knife, or a Serrated Adirondack for similar tools in a Wenger Swiss Army knife.

NOTE-- This model has also been called the Weekender knife. That model name was also used for an earlier version of the Weekender with a plain blade.

NOTE-- Most of the other serrated Victorinox knives are named after mountains, but for some reason Victorinox just called this the plain old Serrated Spartan (or sometimes, the Weekender). The next time we go back to the 1980's in our corporate time machine, we'll suggest the name of a small mountain for this small serrated knife-- perhaps the Bunker Hill, or the Ozark.

Spartan-- plain blade in a red or black finish
Spartan Retired Colors-- plain blade in ruby, sapphire and other colors
Spartan Lite-- plain blade, adds LED light, phillips screwdriver and mini screwdriver
Spartan Matte-- plain blade, matte finish, printed
Spartan Late 1980's-- plain blade, grooved corkscrew
Spartan Original-- plain blade, grooved corkscrew, awl without sewing eye
Standard-- plain blade, no key ring, toothpick or tweezers
Weekender-- plain blade, no toothpick or tweezers
