The Victorinox Salesmanl Swiss Army knife is a vintage, retired
model that is still sometimes available in used condition. This
pocket knife has the same tools as the modern Super
Tinker model, but it comes in the smaller, 84mm / 3 1/4" size.
This knife is a collector's item, and we sell it at a
premium price. Almost all of the ones that we have seen so far all
have the older square phillips screwdriver, so this
model was probably retired in the early 1980's, shortly after the
switch to the newer, rounded screwdriver.
If you just want a practical pocket knife with similar features,
consider a regular Super
Tinker or Super Tinker
Original knife instead.
NOTE-- We finally found this model name in a Victorinox
catalog dated 1980. We found one other source which called it the Yeoman,
but that is almost certainly an error. Victorinox was very casual
about model names when this one was in production, so there may
be other names for it. |
