Victorinox Recruit Knife

The matte version of the Victorinox Recruit Swiss Army knife was offered as an "economy" model during the 1990's. It has the same tools as the standard Recruit knife, but it comes with matte scales and a printed insignia.

NOTE-- This version of the Recruit knife has also been called the the Driver knife.

Recruit Matte knives are medium-sized Swiss Army knives (3 1/4" / 84mm). They contain the following tools:

• Large Blade
• Small Blade
• Can Opener with Small Screwdriver
• Bottle Opener with Large Screwdriver
• Toothpick
• Tweezers
• Key Ring

Some other versions of the Recruit pocket knife:

• Recruit-- smooth red scales
• Recruit Colors-- black and other colors (retired)
• Recruit Economy-- no toothpick or tweezers (retired)
