The earliest version of the Ranger Swiss Army knife is similar to the modern Ranger knife, but it lacks the chisel (introduced around 1986) and the hook (introduced in 1991). It also has the original grooved corkscrew, scissors with a screw, and the original awl without a sewing eye.

This is a fairly rare collectible model that sells at a premium price. Consider the modern Ranger model instead, if you just want a practical pocket knife with similar tools!
