The Ranger Swiss Army knife is the smallest of the really big multi-tools from Victorinox (or the largest of the "average sized" knives, depending on your perspective).

This version is identical to the standard Ranger pocket knife, but it also has a Camping logo (similar to the Camper Swiss Army knife).

This model contains five rows of tools. It's almost an inch thick (23 mm), so you'll probably want to carry it in a backpack or on a belt pouch, rather than in your pocket.

NOTE-- We have not yet determined why some versions of the Ranger have had the Camping logo and some didn't!

Ranger-- plain shell
Ranger 1980's-- no hook, scissors with screw, grooved corkscrew, plain shell
Ranger 1980's Camping-- same tools as previous, with Camping logo
Ranger 1992-- scissors with screw, plain shell
Ranger Original-- no hook or chisel, scissors with screw, grooved corkscrew, plain awl
Ranger Original Camping-- same tools as previous, with Camping logo
Ranger Pruner-- pruning blade instead of small blade

Champion-- adds magnifier, fish scaler/ruler and Phillips screwdriver, no hook
Handyman-- adds pliers
Huntsman-- no metal saw, chisel or small screwdriver
Mountaineer-- no wood saw, chisel or small screwdriver
Space Shuttle-- same tools with inlaid Space Shuttle image
SwissChamp-- adds magnifier, pliers, fish scaler and other tools

Leatherman Blast-- adds pliers, no chisel, hook or second blade
Leatherman Super Tool-- adds pliers and screwdrivers, no scissors, corkscrew, chisel, hook
