The red alox version of the Victorinox Pioneer Swiss Army knife dates back to the 1960's to 1980's. It has the same tools as the modern Pioneer pocket knife, but it has a red alox finish.

This is the most common of the retired red alox knives-- it's the best one to start with, if you'd like to collect older alox knives.

This model has also been called the Sturdy Boy knife.
