The 1990's version of the Victorinox Mechanic Swiss Army Knife is similar to the modern Mechanic pocket knife, but it doesn't have the crimpers built into the plier handles.

This model was last produced in 2001. It's probably not a collector's item yet, but we sell it at a slight premium since it is out of production and will eventually become rare. If you don't like the crimper in the modern pliers or prefer an older, simpler knife, this is the one for you! Otherwise, get a modern Mechanic instead.

Angler-- replaces phillips screwdriver with corkscrew, adds fish scaler/ruler

Hiker-- replaces pliers with wood saw
Mechanic-- pliers with crimper
Mechanic BSA-- adds Boy Scouts logo

Super Tinker-- replaces pliers with scissors, adds a hook
