| DESCRIPTION |
|
The Victorinox Mauser knife is a retired pocket knife that was
designed for the German market. It is very different from most other Swiss
Army knives-- with an alternate shell design and shell color, larger blades,
a unique saw-bottle opener combination and no slots for toothpick and tweezers.
The Mauser name was licensed from Mauser-werke Obendorf
GmbH, and the knife was intended as a companion for the Mauser rifle.
The Mauser pocket knife is no longer in production--
it was retired in the 1980's. This model is an extremely popular item
for collectors, and sells at a premium price. |
