The Victorinox Helmsman Swiss Army knife is a hefty locking-blade knife for pocket or backpack. It is designed for sailors and others who work with boats, ropes or rigging.

NOTE-- The modern Helmsman knives come in a blue color, with a compass design on the front shell. We sometimes get vintage Helmsman knives in the original red color (with no design). These are rare collector's items that sell at a premium price.

Skipper-- adds pliers and corkscrew
Picnicker-- no shackle opener/marlin spike, corkscrew instead of phillips head screwdirver
Tinker-- Smaller knife (3 1/2" 91 mm) with small blade instead of shackle opener
