| DESCRIPTION |
|
The "left handed" Victorinox Explorer Swiss Army knife
is an interesting variation of the 1980's Victorinox Explorer knife.
It has the exact same tools, but the magnifier is next to the large blade,
instead of the can opener.
We haven't been able to determine why this knife was built backwards
from the normal Explorer. There is no record of Victorinox having
a line of true "left hand" knives, as Wenger did. It
may just be that a few workers preferred to assemble the knife
parts in a different order.
Whatever the reason, there is also a left-handed version of the Original
Explorer (from before 1987), but we haven't seen any post-hook
Explorers that are reversed. |

Handed Explorer knife weighs about *** grams (*** oz). |
