The 1992 version of the Victorinox Explorer Swiss Army knife is similar to the modern Explorer knife, but its scissors are attached with an adjustable screw, instead of rivets.

This variation was manufactured for only a short period (in 1991 and 1992), so it is moderately scarce. We sell it at a moderate premium, for those who like to have adjustable scissors, or who want to collect different variations of the Explorer pocket knife.
