The Victorinox Escort with Emergency Blade Swiss Army knife is a variation of the very compact Escort pocket knife. This model includes a narrow emergency blade/letter opener instead of the small blade that is found on the standard Escort knife.

This is the smallest and lightest Victorinox knife-- it weighs in at a mere 16.1 grams (a little more than 1/2 ounce). HINT-- That's about .2 grams less than the standard Escort, for those who are extra-concerned about their carry weight when hiking!

The Escort Emergency Blade model is no longer in production, but it is sometimes available as a used Swiss Army knife. It has frequently been used as a "freebie" for doctors, so the used versions often include the name of some pharmaceutical compound, on the back.
