| DESCRIPTION |
|
For a few years, Victorinox offered a version of the Cadet Swiss
Army knife with a copper coating on the ribbed aluminum alox scales. They
never offered this finish on any other knives, and discontinued the Copper
Cadet after a couple of years.
This unique finish is very attractive and unusual. The
copper color wears fairly well, but it will eventually wear through
from "pocket wear", particularly if you carry coins, keys or other
metal objects in the same pocket. Since this knife is collectible and moderately
expensive, you might want to carry it in a protective case, to maximize
the lifetime of the finish.
