Victorinox Original Climber Knife |

The original Victorinox Climber Swiss Army Knife features seven popular swiss army tools, plus a toothpick and tweezers. This is the original version of the Climber that was in production from the late 1970's until 1986.
The original Climber knife has four key differences from the modern Climber Swiss Army knife. Its awl does not have a sewing eye, the corkscrew is grooved, there is no hook, and the scissors are attached with a screw instead of a rivet. This model is still found frequently as a used Swiss Army knife. It is slightly collectible but not very rare, so we only sell it at a slight premium over the modern Climber knife. This model has also been called the Backpacker. Original Climber knives are standard sized Swiss Army knives (3 1/2" / 91mm). They contain the following tools:
