The Victorinox Climber Swiss Army Knife is one of the most popular
of the standard-size models.
Most of the Climber knives we see are either the modern
Climber or the original
Climber from the 1980's, but a small percentage are transitional
knives with some, but not all of the changes.
In 1987, Victorinox switched from a plain awl to one that included
a sewing eye. Climbers manufactured between 1987 and 1990 still
had three vintage features-- a grooved corkscrew, scissors attached
with a screw, and a plain back with no hook.
This variation of the Climber is fairly common, so we sell it
at only a slight premium over the standard Climber knives. |
