The earliest version of the Victorinox Champion was a six-layer knife which was the largest Swiss Army knife, at that time. Some versions of the early Champion include a long file, a unique tool that is only found on older Swiss Army knives.

The vintage Champion with Long File knife is definitely a collector's item which sells at a premium price. Consider a later Champion or a Ranger knife, if you just want a practical pocket knife with a similar assortment of tools.

Champion Vintage-- no long file (retired model)
Ranger-- no fish scaler or Phillips driver, adds corkscrew, hook, fine screwdriver and chisel
