| DESCRIPTION |
|
The Automobile Swiss Army knife is an extremely
rare, retired model that is definitely a collector's item. Most
versions of this knife include an inlaid picture of St. Christopher,
the patron saint of travelers and automobiles (the inlay shows a
big guy holding a stick, with Christ on his shoulder).
This knife, the Automobile
Deluxe and
the Technician knives are
the only Victorinox models that have an end-mounted
standard screwdriver. It works better than the screwdriver
blades on the ends of the can
opener and bottle opener, though is is no longer
found on any present-day models. If you just want a practical pocket knife with
similar tools, consider a Mountaineer or
a Troubleshooter.
If you really want an end-mounted plain screwdriver,
consider one of the Leatherman tools. |
| WEIGHT |
| The Automobile
knife weighs about 84.7 grams (3.0 oz). |
|
