The Victorinox Ambassador Alox Swiss Army knife is a basic Swiss Army knife that is housed in a light, smooth aluminum alox shell.

This model is no longer produced by Victorinox, but it is often available as a used Swiss Army knife.

NOTE-- Because of its smooth shells, this model was very popular for printed company logos and advertising, so most of the examples that we find are imprinted with something or other. The plain ones sell at a significant premium.

Ambassador-- same features in plastic shell, adds toothpick and tweezers
Executive Alox-- adds key ring, small blade and an orange peeler/scraper
Money Clip-- adds money clip

Diplomat-- slightly larger size (3 1/4" / 84mm)
