Victorinox Small Blade |
|
The small blade on full-size Victorinox Swiss Army knives has the following lengths (depending on overall knive size):
On the larger Victorinox knives, the small blade has a fairly broad profile. It's a good backup for the large blade.
The small blade on all types of Victorinox Swiss Army knife is a non-locking blade-- if you push in the wrong direction, the blade will close into the body (possibly endangering fingers). Some people leave the large blade a little on the dull side, and sharpen the smaller blade to a razor edge. In that case the large blade can be used for any task that would dull the super-sharp blade. Other Small Blades Small Victorinox Swiss Army knives have a pen blade with a narrower profile. Some Wenger Swiss Army also include a pen blade (though in general, Wenger knives are more likely to include a nail file instead of a second blade). Most Leatherman multi-tools also include a small blade. |
