Victorinox Combo Wood Saw

A few retired Victorinox pocket knives have a unique blade that combines a wood saw, bottle opener and slotted screwdriver tip. This blade is no longer used on current production Swiss Army knives.

The combination wood saw usually comes with a detachable cover that protects the saw teeth when not in use.

The wood saw works best in materials less than 2" in diameter. You can use the saw to cut wider pieces of firewood by making two cuts in a "v" shape, and working all around the outside until it is narrow enough to snap.

HINT-- Use light pressure when using the wood saw and be careful that it doesn't bind, since it can bend at the base and eventually snap off if used with too much force.
