Victorinox Pliers |
|
A few of the larger Swiss Army knives from Victorinox include a set of pliers about 3" (78 mm) in length.
It doesn't compare to a real pliers, or the gripping tools found on some of the larger multi-tools. But it's sufficient for small repairs, and for removing nuts about 1/2" (13 mm) or smaller. The Victorinox pliers also include a crimper (located on the handle side, right close to the pivot point). The smallest Victorinox Swiss Army knife with pliers is the Mechanic. Other Pliers The Wenger pliers on Wenger Swiss Army knives include a slip joint so they can handle larger nuts. They use a lever arm as a return mechanism instead of a small spring. The Leatherman pliers are much larger. They include wire cutters, and have longer arms which provide additional leverage. |
