Victorinox SwissCard Nail File With MM/Sec Scale |
|
This removable nail file is only found on the Dr. SwissCard. Unlike the removable nail file found on other SwissCards, this one features a unique scale on the back, measuring 25 mm/sec. NOTE-- So far we have not been able to discover the use of this scale! If you are a doctor who knows the use of this scale, please contact us!
Like the standard SwissTool nail file, it has a roughened metal surface on one side which works quite well for taking rough spots off fingernails or toenails. The tool is hard enough that it probably won't ever wear out. The mm/sec scale is found on the opposite side of the tool, as shown above. Other Nail Files Other SwissTools have a nail file which is nearly identical, but without the mm/sec scale.. This tool is nearly identical to the nail file with a screwdriver tip found on smaller Victorinox Swiss Army knives, except of course this nail file is removable. Some Victorinox Swiss Army knives include a nail file with a nail cleaner. The Victorinox Executive knife includes a slightly different nail file with crosscuts instead of a roughened surface. Some of the larger Victorinox Swiss Army knives include a metal file, which also can double as a nail file. Nail files are found on many of the Wenger Swiss Army knives-- in fact, most of the Wenger models have a nail file instead of the small blade that is found on most Victorinox knives. A few Leatherman tools also include a nail file. |
