Victorinox Alox Finish

This finish is available on the following Swiss Army knives:

Some Swiss Army knives from Victorinox come with smooth aluminum Alox shells instead of the traditional red thermoplastic shells.

The Alox knives are much thinner and lighter than the standard knives, and hold up better to "pocket wear".

Some of the larger Swiss Army knives are built with a ribbed alox finish that is stiffer and sturdier.
