Tool description

The modern clip point blade blade was introduced on PST's starting in 1995, SuperTools in 1996, and is also found on SuperTool 200's. The PST blade is 2 3/4" (67mm) long, while the SuperTool versions blades measure 3" (75mm).

The clip point knife blade has a fairly slender point, so its tip can reach into tight spots. It's also a bit more dangerous to use than the drop point blade, since you can stab yourself with it if not careful.

This tool is manufactured from an extremely hard form of stainless steel, so it holds an edge for a long time, and can be easily re-sharpened.

The clip point blade can corrode if exposed to strong acids, or if it is used in a salty environment for long periods of time. However, like all of the other Leatherman implements, in normal use it is resistant to corrosion.

A similarly shaped blade made out of different materials is found on the Kick, Fuse, Blast, and Core.
