1996 Saber Point SuperTool

DESCRIPTION

This is the last variation of the SuperTool that contains the saber point blade. It has a more "pointy" profile than the current clip point version. That makes it better for piercing and fine work, though it is also more fragile, and less useful for skinning or slicing.

Also, the pliers pivot on this variation is larger in diameter than subsequent versions.

1996 is the last year that this variation was produced; the latest month that we've seen stamped on the arms is July. This version of the SuperTool was also produced in late 1995.

WEIGHT

The SuperTool weighs about 260 grams (approximately 9 oz).
