| The "Old
Tools" Undated PST is
differentiated from the "REG'D
TM" Undated PST by
three major tool changes.
Instead of the "Saber" clip-point blade included from
the "REG'D TM" Undated
PST until mid 1995, this variation has the drop-point
blade that
was included on the first PST's.
The "Old Tools" variation also contains
an older version of the awl which is milled more heavily than
the modern one, and can opener with a left-handed cut instead
of the modern right-handed version.
So far, all of the knives we've seen have had either the Saber
blade, the modern awl, and the right-handed can opener or the
drop-point blade, the old awl, and the left-handed can opener.
It's certainly possible that there were transitional variations,
and we'd love to hear about it if you have one. |
