Green Plastic Leatherman Micra

The Green Plastic Leatherman Micra tool has a translucent plastic jacket that encases the tool. The plastic jacket is fairly tough, and stands up well to everyday use.

Micra tools are compact multi-tools (2 1/2" / 67 mm). They contain a large pair of spring-action scissors, plus six smaller tools (3 folded into each handle). This tool was introduced in 1997, and it has won awards for excellence from Backpacker magazine and many other sources.

Colored Plastic Micras were produced for several years, and are also available in red and blue. They are no longer in production (new colored micras now have an anodized aluminum shell), but they are common enough that you can still buy them at a fairly reasonable price.
