Guide to Leatherman Packaging
|
| DESCRIPTION |
| The Leatherman PST
II (Personal Survival Tool II) is an improved version of
the original Leatherman PST multi-tool.
It adds a pair of folding scissors instead of the awl, and
also has a diamond-coated file blade that can give a smooth
finish to almost any material.
The Leatherman PST II is built from 100%
stainless steel-- it contains a large set of pliers (combination
needle-nose pliers, regular pliers and wire cutters), plus eight
supplementary tools (4 folded into each arm of the pliers).
The tools and markings on the PST II have
somewhat since the tool's introduction; we list all the variations
we know of below.
You can also order new
PST II tools in retired packaging.
HINT--If you don't care about
the specific tools or year of your PST II,1997 and 1999 are the
most common.
