| The Leatherman
Mini Tool is a stubby and very compact multi-tool that unfolds
into a full-sized set of pliers and wire cutters. It has a unique
double-folding handle that also includes built-in can and bottle
openers, plus a short blade and a small file.
This tool is retired and
no longer made by Leatherman, but it is still available in used
condition. It has become a "collectible",
though it is still inexpensive enough to buy as a regular
pocket tool.
The Leatherman Mini Tool
is built entirely from stainless steel-- it contains a full sized
set of pliers (6 1/4" / 162 mm when opened) that includes
needle-nose, regular pliers and wire cutters. This multi-tool
also contains four supplementary tools (2 folded into each arm
of the pliers).
When you are not using it, the Mini Tool
folds up into an extremely compact little rectangle (just
2 5/8" / 66 mm when closed, or not much bigger than a Leatherman
Micra).
