Leatherman Micra Colors

The Leatherman Micra tool was produced for several years with a tough plastic jacket in three colors-- red, blue and green. These transparent color Micras are no longer in production, but they are common enough that you can still buy them at a fairly reasonable price.

Micra tools are compact multi-tools (2 1/2" / 67 mm). They contain a large pair of spring-action scissors, plus six smaller tools (3 folded into each handle). This tool was introduced in 1997, and it has won awards for excellence from Backpacker magazine and many other sources.

The Micra is small enough that you can attach it to a key chain and carry it everywhere.

Squirt P4-- no scissors, nail file or tweezers, adds pliers and file, smaller size (2 1/4" 58 mm)

Victorinox Classic-- no phillips driver, smaller scissors and tweezers, adds toothpick
Victorinox Rambler-- smaller scissors and tweezers, adds toothpick
Victorinox Sportsman-- no scissors, adds awl and corkscrew, larger size
