Leatherman Micra Painted

The first colored versions of the Leatherman Micra tool came with a baked enamel finish. Unfortunately, the surface was not tough enough, and it wore off quickly in the usual abrasive pocket environment. Because of that, the painted models were soon replaced with a transparent plastic version of the Micra (which in turn was soon replaced by the modern anodized aluminum versions).

We only rarely see painted Micras in good condition, and we sell them as collector's items at a premium price.

Micra Stainless Steel-- same tools in stainless steel finish
Micra Transparent-- same tools with a transparent plastic shell
Squirt P4-- no scissors, nail file or tweezers, adds pliers and file, smaller size (2 1/4" 58 mm)
Squirt S4-- detachable tweezers, smaller size (2 1/4" 58 mm)

Victorinox Classic-- no phillips driver, smaller scissors and tweezers, adds toothpick
Victorinox Rambler-- smaller scissors and tweezers, adds toothpick
Victorinox Sportsman-- no scissors, adds awl and corkscrew, larger size
