Leatherman Fuse Tool

The Leatherman Fuse tool is a good, all around Leatherman tool, featuring a variety of the most useful tool attachments. This is a relatively new model that was introduced in 2004.

This tool allows you to select one blade at a time, rather than having them all open at once (which makes it similar to the Swiss Army knives, which also feature independent springs for each tool).

The Fuse multi-tool is made entirely from stainless steel-- it contains a large set of pliers (combination needle-nose, regular pliers and wire cutters), plus six supplementary tools (3 inside each arm of the pliers).

Fuses are intermediate between the Leatherman Kick and Blast.

Leatherman Blast-- adds file, wood saw and mini-screwdriver
Leatherman Kick-- no scissors

Victorinox Craftsman-- adds wood saw, chisel, hook and second blade
Victorinox Ranger-- no pliers, adds wood saw, corkscrew, hook and second blade
