Leatherman Blast Tool

The Leatherman Blast tool is very similar to the original Leatherman PST (Personal Survival tool), but it has been specially engineered to withstand more squeezing force. This versatile multi-tool also features Zytel handles for a sure, comfortable grip. The Blast is a relatively new model that was introduced in 2004. We usually have it available in both used and new condition.

The Leatherman Blast multi-tool is made entirely from stainless steel-- it contains a large set of pliers (combination needle-nose, regular pliers and wire cutters), plus nine supplementary tools (5 folded inside one arm of the pliers, and 4 in the other).

This pocket tool is "big brother" to the Kick and Fuse-- which have a similar body, but fewer tools.

Leatherman Fuse-- no file, wood saw or mini-screwdriver
Leatherman Kick-- no file, scissors, wood saw or mini-screwdriver
Leatherman PST-- no saw or scissors, adds medium screwdriver and awl, plain grips
Leatherman Pulse-- no scissors or bit driver

Victorinox Craftsman-- smaller pliers, adds chisel, hook and second blade
Victorinox SwissTool X-- separate can/bottle openers, large screwdriver instead of mini screwdriver
Wenger PocketGrip-- no scissors or ruler, separate wood saw and metal saw (retired)
